MSDB 2.0 brochureProduct Description
The MSDB 2.0 is designed for use in low-voltage power distribution networks, supporting utilities, infrastructure projects and commercial developments. It provides a safe and efficient solution for managing multiple service connections in confined or challenging installation environments.
Building on the reputation of the original MSDB range, launched over 15 years ago, the MSDB 2.0 represents a harmonisation of the vertical ‘J’ type fuse design, with all cabinets now derived from a single design rather than the three that evolved over that period. The DNA of the MSDB 2.0 resides in the fuse-ways and cable-ways, which remain unchanged. The increased space around the fuse-ways allows for easier cabling, enhancing product safety by reducing conductor bend stress and minimising the risk of injury.
The MSDB 2.0 also comes with a range of cabling accessories that improve both the speed and ease with which an MSDB cabinet can be cabled. These advancements remove the need for bottom neutral variants, resulting in reduced inventory requirements and simpler purchasing management.
