Lucy Electric EV Infrastructure, Lucy Electric’s dedicated EV business, has been shortlisted for EV Start-Up of the Year at the Electric Vehicle Innovation & Excellence (EVIE) Awards 2026. Selected from a host of entries across the EV infrastructure sector, the shortlisting highlights the impact the business has made since its launch in 2025 and the innovation behind its EVIS Low Voltage Feeder Pillar range.
Speaking about the shortlisting, Tom Goodman, General Manager of Lucy Electric EV Infrastructure, said: “Being shortlisted for EV Start-Up of the Year means a great deal to all of us. Everyone has worked incredibly hard to grow the business and support our customers’ EV projects, and it’s great to see that effort recognised alongside some of the most innovative businesses in the sector. We’re proud to be building on Lucy Electric’s heritage to support the growth of EV charging, and we’re looking forward to the ceremony in November.”
About the Awards
The EVIEs celebrate the top achievements, breakthroughs, and leaders in the electric vehicle and charging infrastructure sector. EV Start-Up of the Year honours the most promising EV start-up to have made a significant impact within a short period, with judges looking for innovation, market disruption, and contributions to the wider EV ecosystem.
Spotlight on the EVIS Range
Designed for tomorrow’s ultra-fast EV networks, the EVIS Low Voltage Feeder Pillar range supports single- and three-phase charging from 7kW to 150kW. Flexible private and DNO incoming supply options, together with custom configurations for 630A to 1600A equipment, allow the range to support everything from small installations to high-power charging hubs. EVIS pillars can also be integrated into Lucy Electric package substations for a complete EV-ready solution.
The newest addition to the range, the EVIS 2500A, is purpose-built for ultra-fast EV hubs. It offers up to 10 outgoing ways as a free-standing pillar and up to 17 when transformer-mounted, alongside smart-ready metering and monitoring, circuit breakers with integrated residual current protection, and type-testing to IEC 61439-7.
What Happens Next
The winners will be announced at the EVIEs 2026 ceremony on 18 November 2026. The full shortlist is available on the EVIEs website.
