In July 2025, the CSR team at Lucy Electric Thailand (LET) had the pleasure of visiting the Wat Nong Bon Vipassana Early Childhood Centre in Rayong, as part of their ongoing commitment to community outreach and engagement with the local community.
During the visit, the team donated and installed new fans and lighting to improve classroom comfort and functionality. These upgrades were intended to enhance both the physical environment and the children’s overall educational experience. The team also gave the children a special treat—handing out ice cream, which for some was their very first taste!
Located within the grounds of Wat Nong Bon Vipassana, a temple known for its Vipassana meditation tradition, the Early Childhood Centre serves as a vital preschool for the surrounding community. Rooted in cultural and moral development, the centre offers a nurturing space where children can build foundational skills, social awareness, and personal values—particularly important for working families in the area.
This initiative enabled LET to provide more than just material support. It brought joy to the children, improved their learning environment, and reinforced the importance of early education in shaping future opportunities. The visible happiness of the students and the heartfelt gratitude of the staff highlighted the tangible impact of the visit.
LET is proud to support local institutions like the Wat Nong Bon Vipassana Early Childhood Centre, and remains committed to advancing education, well-being, and community growth through its CSR programmes.
