London, September 2025: Lucy Electric, an international leader in cutting edge switchgear design, manufacture and automation solutions for electrical distribution systems, has today announced the launch of its new Evis 2500A Feeder Pillar, expanding its current EV offering as it continues to meet significant market growth and customer demand.

The new Evis 2500A Feeder Pillar was unveiled at the EV Charge Live UK exhibition in Birmingham, and marks a major milestone for the company, as Lucy Electric extends its proven range of EV infrastructure solutions, providing the critical link between the grid and the charge point. With its 2500A capacity, this latest innovation is engineered for the future of EV infrastructure, delivering energy to rapid and ultra-fast charge points from 150kW to 350kW and providing up to 10 outgoing ways (for the free-standing example) and up to 17 outgoing ways (for the transformer mounted variant).

Equipped with integrated metering, monitoring, and control functions, including COP5 compliant metering for third-party readings, the Evis 2500A Feeder Pillar gives operators full visibility of performance, helping them to optimise usage, manage loads, and accurately bill. It also benefits from Lucy Electric’s attractive delivery schedules, ensuring short lead times and fast deployment.

Combining high capacity, smart control, and a robust weather-proof IP54 design, the Evis 2500A Feeder Pillar is built to meet the current and future needs of operators, developers, and local authorities as they build the UK’s EV future. Its compact footprint reduces the space required on-site, maximising land use and making installation easier, faster, and more cost-effective.

Darren Motley, Low Voltage Product Manager at Lucy Electric comments: “The launch of the Evis 2500A Feeder Pillar, is not simply an extension of our existing EV range, but a statement of intent, that through the partnerships we build with customers, Lucy Electric is delivering the UK’s expanding EV infrastructure”.

“The transition to Net-Zero is reshaping e-mobility, with electric vehicles being at the forefront. Meeting this challenge requires a robust and future-proof charging network, and demand for quality EV infrastructure equipment has never been higher. With our proven track record in delivering industry-leading power distribution solutions, we are today expanding this offering to accelerate EV adoption, support decarbonisation, and help create cleaner, more sustainable urban environments.”
