This year’s Mental Health Awareness Week focused on the theme of community, a fitting reminder of how vital connection and support are for our wellbeing. To mark the week, the CSR and Wellbeing teams in Thame joined forces to host a day of activities that brought colleagues together to learn, share, and reflect.

The highlight of the day was a visit from Restore, a local charity that helps people recovering from mental health challenges through coaching, training, and work experience. Their interactive session provided valuable insights into mental health, recovery, and the power of community support in building resilience.

To make the event even more special, Holly and the Wellbeing team treated everyone to a delicious spread of cakes and biscuits, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Cristiana, from the CSR team, also organised a donation to support Restore’s ongoing work in the community.

The day concluded with a relaxing Wellbeing Walk, offering everyone a chance to unwind and connect outdoors.

The event was a wonderful reminder that looking after our mental wellbeing is something we can all contribute to — not just during Mental Health Awareness Week, but every day.
